Brieana Salter

Brieana Salter is a West Palm Beach native who serves in the community as an advocate for Lupus and other chronic illnesses. She is the Founder and President of The LupieGirl, Inc., which is a nonprofit that encourages, motivates, and inspires those living with Lupus and other chronic illnesses to accomplish their goals despite their illness through support, education, and engagement. Brieana is a Lupus Survivor and a two time Kidney transplant recipient. Brieana has also have served as a member of various organizations, including The National Coalition of 100 Black Women and New Leaders Council Palm Beach (18’) where she served to promote leadership development, health equity and education, and economic empowerment.


Brieana has served as a Health Educator where she worked in the community, especially with middle school and high school students, sharing the importance and the meaning of Sexual Health and what that includes, such as Hygiene, Healthy & Unhealthy Relationships, and STDs. Brieana also served as an Outreach Project Coordinator for Palm Beach County Victim Services where she chaired several committees, including the Community Action Network (C.A.N.), coordinating community partners to join together, working to engage the community in the prevention of Sexual Violence through outreach, Awareness and Prevention. She spearheaded events as well as provided training for all serious crime types.


Brieana also serves as an adjunct professor at Palm Beach State College where she teaches various classes to Bachelor's degree-seeking students with a concentration in Health Management. To date, Brieana continues to serve as a member of other committees in Palm Beach County. Ms. Salter is a graduate of Palm Beach State College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science with a concentration in Health Management and she later earned her Master’s Degree in Health Law with concentrations in Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management.
